PIR Pipe Thermal Insulation Material
Polyisocyanurate foam (PIR), also referred to as PIR, polyiso, or ISO, is very similar to polyurethane foam. It is a closed cell thermoset polymer formed by reacting a di- or poly-isocyanate with a polyol, offering lower thermal conductivity than polyurethane foam.

  • Secondary Vapor Barrier: PAP aluminum foil

Packing and Storage
  • Store in a dry, lightproof, shady, and ventilated place, away from heat sources and protected from sun exposure

Cautions
  • Handle PIR gently, avoiding rolling, collision, and heavy pressure during movement
  • When applied to pipe and equipment insulation, fasten PIR with glass fiber tape or steel band
  • Use a saw for cutting during application
