Product Description
 

PIR (Polyisocyanurate Foam) is a rigid insulation material tested in accordance with ASTM D1622. Known as a low thermal conductivity insulation material, PIR achieves thermal conductivity as low as 0.022 W/m·K and maintains excellent mechanical strength under -200℃ cryogenic conditions. Compared with traditional polyurethane, PIR provides higher compressive strength (≥200 kPa), superior fire resistance (Class 1 / B1), closed cell content ≥95%, and water absorption ≤2%. It is widely recognized as the preferred LNG pipe insulation material.
