Product Description
Industrial Pipe Insulation Supports High Thermal Stability Cryogenic Pipe Supports
Limit pipe supports help isolate the pipe from the outside structure for maximum efficiency. They offer an immediate thermal break and eliminate "radiator fin" heat loss or gain, depending on the service temperature of the system. Pre-insulated supports function to keep heat in or out of the pipe as desired depending on the service temperature of the pipe.
Compositions
A complete insulated pipe support system is composed of insulated pipe supports and cold insulation materials. The cold insulation material is the most important part of the insulated pipe support system, which is high density polyisocyanurate (HDPIR).
In addition to the main cold insulation materials, the insulated pipe support system can also be equipped with the following auxiliary materials according to the requirements:
- Damp proof layer
- Metal protective layer
- Rubber plate
- Metal pipe clamp
- Bolt and nut
- Butterfly spring
- Cold insulation washer
- Polytetrafluoroethylene sliding pair
- Steam insulation resistance
These components meet design needs and ensure the safe and reliable use of the pipe support system.
Application
Mainly used for bearing and heat insulation of pipes and equipment in:
- Petrochemical plants
- Liquefied gas plants
- Refrigeration warehouses
- Central air conditioning systems
Packing and Storage
All parts will be fitted together in workshop. Finished product shall be wrapped by anti-ultraviolet polythene film, then packed in wooden case.
HDPIR Material Properties
HDPIR is a foaming polymer with features of plastic, rubber and cork. The raw materials are isocyanate, polyether, foaming agent, catalyst, and flame retardant. After high speed stirring, materials react and foam to cellular structure product, composed of millions of tiny and uniform sealed cells. It provides benefits of low density, low thermal conductivity, and low water absorption. The performance is better than timber.
