Product Description
Low Water Absorption Sliding Pipe Support Systems with High Compressive Strength
Sliding pipe supports are engineered for diverse applications including above-ground piping systems in buildings, tunnels, and trenches. These supports are designed to accommodate high-temperature, cold-temperature, and dual-temperature applications. High-temperature pre-insulated supports incorporate structural inserts for enhanced load carrying and clamping capabilities, while low-temperature variants utilize specialized materials and densities to support pipe weight effectively.
Kaff Rees Insulated Pipe Support System Variants
  • Sliding Pipe Support System
  • Guide Pipe Support System (including vertical pipe guide supports)
  • Limit/Fixed Pipe Support System
  • Bearer Supporting Bracket System

Kaff Rees provides a comprehensive range of insulated cryogenic pipe supports for all low-temperature piping systems. These supports feature mechanical clamping via disc spring bolting, with steel pipe support cradles housing HD-PIR insulation. Standard hot-dip galvanization ensures durability.
Our cryogenic pipe supports meet international technical standards, accommodating pipe diameters from OD 21.3 mm (0.84 in) to OD 965.20 mm (38 in) with insulation thicknesses ranging from 25 mm (0.98 in) to 250 mm (9.84 in). Engineered for extreme conditions, they withstand medium temperatures down to -196°C.
HDPIR Insulation Material
HDPIR is a high-performance foaming polymer combining characteristics of plastic, rubber, and cork. Formulated from isocyanate, polyether, foaming agents, catalysts, and flame retardants, it undergoes high-speed stirring to create millions of uniform sealed cells. This cellular structure delivers superior thermal performance with low density, minimal thermal conductivity, and exceptionally low water absorption, outperforming traditional timber materials.
